MURAHABAD FUND
Investment Objective: The global diversified equity fund is a mutual fund that seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity securities from around the world.
Investment Strategy: The fund will invest in a variety of equity securities across different sectors and regions, with a focus on high-quality companies with strong fundamentals and attractive valuations. the portfolio will be managed with a disciplined and risk-controlled approach to minimize downside risk.
Investment Team: The fund will be managed by a team of experienced investment professionals with a track record of delivering consistent returns to investors. The team will conduct rigorous research and analysis to identify the most attractive investment opportunities and manage risk.
Commodity Murabahah Financing (CMF)
CMF is an Islamic financing for asset acquisition and/or working capital. It is defined as a sale of a specified commodity in two different level of transactions. First, the seller sells the commodity to the buyer for a certain period with deferred payment and subsequently the buyer sells it to a third party for a cash payment. The financier shall engage 3rd party (i.e commodity broker/trader) for commodity trading services. The Shariah concept applied is Commodity Murabahah/Tawarruq. The trading of commodity is by way of Bai’ Murabahah.

a) Financier’s Sale Price: RM51,000,000.00 (Sum of cost-plus profit)
b) Profit Rate: 7.0% p.a for the whole tenure
c) Financier’s Purchase Price: RM30,000,000.00 (Financing amount) d) Tenure : 10 years
e) Annual Profit: RM2,100,000.00
f) Profit will be distributed on yearly basis.
g) Total financing amount will be paid in a lump sum bullet payment at the end of tenure.

Ibra’ (Rebate) shall be granted to when there is a settlement of the facility before the end of the financing tenure. Settlement prior to the end of the financing tenure shall include, but is not limited to, the following situations:
a) early settlement or early redemption;
b) settlement of the original financing contract due to financing restructuring exercise;
c) settlement in the case of default; and
d) settlement in the event of termination or cancellation of financing before the maturity date
